Here is a Vintage Wind-Up Clockwork Mechanical Lion By Marx.
You wind the key on the lion and the clock type motor begins to work. “It growls! It prowls!” The lion takes a few steps forward and then lifts his head and roars. He continues prowling and growling until he needs another wind. The lion is in working order. This is a tin toy with plush faux fur that looks like mohair and has a vinyl head. The original Marx sticker is still on the underside of the lion’s belly. This toy has been played with and shows a lot of ware, please look at all pictures. Measures approximately 8” long plus tail.
