1890 Antique LE Jockey Club Paris Binoculars
Here is a 19th century pair of horse racing binoculars marked with 'Le Jockey Club Paris' on the brass eye lenses. The Jockey Club was and is considered the most prestigious private gentlemans club in Paris. These are in working order with a central focus wheel and grips covered in leather, there are dents around the lenses but the lenses themselves are in good shape, no cracks. The leather has a small amount of ware and is pealing slightly on one side but would be easily repairable. Height (when not fully extended) is 3 1/8" Width 4 5/8"
