1900’s Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
Here is an early 1900’s hardcover edition of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Illustrated By John Tenniel; Harry Furniss
Published by McLoughlin Bros., circa 1900. Undated. Includes both Alice books, Wonderland and Looking-Glass, with color frontis plate, the black and white Tenniel illustrations throughout, decorative borders to pages in reddish brown. Pictorial hardcover with characters from the books, red cloth spine. Covers very worn, damaged and soiled but still attractive, spine ends frayed, corners rounded, hinges internally cracked but covers secure, (no loosened pages), pages show ware, some tares, staining, first page is damaged and has been taped.
Book is rough, sold as is.
Book is 9 3/4” tall by 8 1/2” wide by 1 1/8” thick.
