Here is a beautiful vintage early Des Loan stoneware pottery vase. It measures approximately 7 1/2” tall by 6 1/2” wide. It is quite heavy and in great condition. Colour may be slightly different then shows on screen.

Desmond Loan arrived in the Okanagan Valley in 1955 with his wife Peggy and five children. He was an high school English teacher, potter, orchardist and town councillor. Keen to contribute to the cultural life of the Valley, he established the Okanagan Pottery Studio on Highway 97 in Peachland, which operated from 1968 through to 2007.

One of a kind! Unique Canadian Pottery.
