SOLD! 1916 No.2 Brownie model C Kodak
Here is an antique Kodak No.2 Brownie model C box camera. Manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company in the USA, NY, Rochester.
Inside is marked Feb 1 1916. Uses 120 film producing images of 2¼” x 3¼”.
The Hawkeye No. 2 Model C is the simpler version of the original Hawkeye No. 2, featuring just a single portrait orientation viewfinder and a fixed aperture. The Hawkeye’s only control is the shutter lever which is located on the user’s right hand side just forward of the film advance knob. Linked to the lever is a single speed rotary shutter mated to a primitive fixed-focus meniscus lens, shutter still works. Camera is in overall good condition for its age, there are a couple paint splatters on the back, light rubbing on edges and leather is starting to lift on the bottom.
