1940’s "Hugger The Bear" Squeaky Toy

Here is a rubber squeaky toy "Hugger The Bear" made by Rempel Mfg. of Akron Ohio, in the 1940's. He measures approximately 12" tall. This toy has hardened due to age at almost 80 years old so the squeaker no longer works. I do not believe the jacket to be original but it appears to be the same age as the toy.
There are not many of these around. This would make a great addition to a vintage collection or antique display.
