SOLD! 1945 Box of Plastic Chessmen - Complete
Here is a vintage box of red and white plastic chessmen, complete with box and instructions. The box shows ware, tape on the bottom and is marked “ Made in Canada by Somerville Industries Limited London Ontario”. The chessmen are in good vintage condition and are marked “made in Hong Kong” on the bottoms, one has a defect from when these were made. The pawns measure 1 1/4” tall, kings measure 2 3/4” tall. The instructions say “copyright 1945 E.S. Lowe Co., Inc.” in English only.
