1945 “The History of Rome Hanks” A Novel By Joseph Stanley Pennell
The History of Rome Hanks and Kindred Matters is an ambitious novel to say the least-an attempt by the Joseph Pennell to compile and process and preserve his own family stories from the Civil War. And while there are brilliant and vivid passages throughout the book, it does occasionally tend toward pretension at times.
This book comes with the dust jacket, dust jacket is torn and shows a lot of ware, underneath the book has been protected, the covers show very little ware, there is an inscription on the first page, the rest of the pages are clean with no writing or marks and the binding is tight.
