SOLD! 1950’s Contraband Card Game by Pepys

Here is a 1945 to 1960’s vintage card game called Contraband, a Pepys Series card game manufactured in Great Britain by the Castell Brothers Ltd. It consists of 54 cards with images of what in the 1950s were considered luxury goods and, as such, were likely to be smuggled; a set of rules and Pepys paper money in different denominations. This game is complete. The cards and rules book are in good condition, the paper 'money' is slightly bent (having been stored tied together with rubber bands). The front of the box has some damage (see photo, someone has poked holed through the front) and the back has some discoloration. Other then the front of the packaging this game is in good playable vintage condition.
