1950’s Hobo Bar Oil lamp
Here is a 1950’s red clay hand painted hobo oil lantern made in Japan. A novelty bar oil lamp with a drunk resting on a street light post. The globe is made of glass and had BAR painted on it, it appears the original paint has worn off and someone rewrote bar in marker long ago, there is light staining on the bottom of the globe where it sits in the lamp. This oil lamp has no cracks, chips or repairs. The metal shows light patina. It needs a new wick. Great for a gift or decor for a bar!
