SOLD! 1961 Kresge’s Southern Belle Porcelain Figurine
Here is a southern Belle figurine sold at Kresge’s in 1961. Still has the original price tag on the bottom. In 1962 Kresge’s became Kmart, the first one opened in Garden City, Michigan. The S. S. Kresge Company, was established in 1924 and became one of the 20th century's largest discount retail organizations. Quite an interesting history. This figurine is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, she originally held an umbrella that is not present. A wonderful addition to your vintage decor.
