SOLD! 1965 Mattel Original Cheerful Tearful Doll
Here is a Mattel Cheerful Tearful doll made in 1965. This is the original doll that does not take batteries, rare to find this hair colour.
Lift her left arm up and she smiles, move the arm down and she pouts. She has a vinyl body, blue eyes, pink cheeks, rooted hair and is approximately 13” tall.
She is also a drink and wet doll, and can cry tears.
The doll is marked on her lower back "965 Mattel Inc. Hawthorne, Calif. U.S. Patents pending 3036-014-2".
She is in overall good vintage condition with a couple small light marks on her leg, see pictures. Facial expressions work well.
