Here is a Methuen’s English Classic “ Doctor Faustus” by Christopher Marlowe, edited by John D. Jump, John Edward Taylor professor of English Literature in the University of Manchester. This edition published in 1969, printed in Great Britain by Butler & Tanner Ltd Frome and London.
A play based on a folk legend of a man who sold his soul to the Devil to enjoy power on earth. Christopher Marlowe is credited with the first play probably written in 1588/9.
This book shows light ware on the covers spine, the is a trace of a name written in pencil on the first page, the rest of the pages are clean with no writing or marks and the binding is tight.
