SOLD! Vintage Viking Amber Swung Glass Candy Dish
Here is a beautiful amber Viking Glass candy dish. The round pedestal base enhances the effect of the wavy scalloped rim. The glass has the appearance of fire reaching outward from its simple starting point. This is most likely one of the reasons these particular pieces may be referred to as "swung glass".
This art glass is in very good vintage condition, no chips or cracks, measures approximately 6 3/4” tall, and is heavy. The decorative possibilities for this beautiful Viking Glass dish are many. The display case or china cabinet would be enhanced by the addition of this beautiful amber glass.
